Mill-Max 0.050" pitch, miniature spring loaded contacts include compact pins and connectors designed for 0.050" pitch applications. Pinout: Both SMT and through-hole versions feature a board height of only 0.166 inches and full stroke capability of 0.040 inches. These spring loaded pins are crafted from precision machined components and stainless steel springs, all carefully gold plated to ensure optimal conductivity, corrosion resistance and long-term durability. These pins have a minimum durability of 100,000 cycles at half stroke, always meeting electrical and mechanical specifications. Electrically, the pins feature a contact resistance of less than 20 milliohms and a maximum current rating of 7A at 30°C temperature rise. The pins also meet the shock and vibration requirements of IEC standards 60512-6-3 and 60512-6-4.

The connector has a 0.050" pin spacing, is available in surface mount and through-hole configurations, and has a low 0.166" board height. Connector insulator material is made from high temperature resistant, durable nylon ensuring compatibility with a variety of soldering processes. When paired with Mill-Max 856 or 857 series target connectors, board-to-board heights as low as 0.236″ can be achieved at mid-stroke compression.
