Summary: Designed for applications with up to 100W output power, supporting Qi specifications 1.2.4 and 1.3.
STMicroelectronics' STWLC99 Qi-compatible wireless power receiver is designed for applications with output powers up to 100W. The chip supports Qi specifications 1.2.4 and 1.3, the inductive communication protocol for Extended Power Profile (EPP), and the proprietary ST Super Charge (STSC) protocol for fast charging. This highly integrated wireless power receiver features a low-dropout linear regulator and integrated low-loss synchronous rectifier for high efficiency and low power consumption. Users can access and modify configuration parameters through the I(2)C interface for custom applications, with final configuration parameters saved in embedded several-times programmable (FTP) non-volatile memory and retrieved at power-up. STMicroelectronics' STWLC99 Qi-compatible wireless power receiver can also be used as a wireless transmitter up to 25W (coil dependent). STWLC99 adopts chip scale packaging.
The STWLC99 receiver is suitable for industrial applications, power tools, autonomous robots, smartphones, tablets and laptops, cordless power tools and power banks.
