Introduction, characteristics, and applications of ENS210A automotive-grade digital relative humidity and temperature sensor

2/14/2024 9:40:51 AM

Summary: ScioSense's ENS210A automotive-grade digital RH and temperature sensor is ideal for applications requiring AEC Q100 Level 1 compliance.

ENS210A ScioSense

ScioSense's ENS21x automotive-grade digital RH and temperature sensor family is based on the successful ENS210 high-performance digital output sensor, which integrates humidity and temperature sensing in a 2mm x 2mm QFN4 package. The ENS210A provides automotive grade quality for applications meeting AEC Q100 Level 1 requirements.

The sensor has a wide sensing temperature range of -40°C to +125°C and a RH range of 0% to 100%. In the range of 0℃~+70℃, the typical temperature accuracy is ±0.15℃; in the range of +25℃, the typical RH accuracy is ±2.0%, and the range is 0% ~ 85%. Digital calibration outputs are provided to external processors and controllers via an I(2)C interface. This enables car HVAC management and balancing, windshield defogging, dew point detection or system water ingress monitoring. For specific application requirements, additional RH and temperature accuracy versions are available in the ENS21x series.
