Summary: These devices feature four programmable comparator inputs and four general-purpose outputs.
Texas Instruments DAC539E4W 10-bit smart digital-to-analog converter (DAC) features four programmable comparator inputs and four general-purpose outputs. A lookup table maps comparator inputs to GPOs. The DAC539E4W also supports programmable delays to allow input transition resolution. These devices provide NVM for storage configuration. This smart DAC does not require a processor using LUTs and NVM (processor-free operation).
The Texas Instruments DAC539E4W features auto-detection of SPI and I(2)C interfaces and internal references. This feature set, coupled with low power consumption and small package, makes smart DACs an excellent choice for fault management applications.
