LP8868-Q1 Texas Instruments

Texas Instruments LP8868-Q1 multi-topology LED driver is a 4A non-synchronous multi-topology driver with inductive fast dimming function and operates over a wide input range of 4.5V to 65V. These LED drivers are configurable with switching frequencies from 100kHz to 2.2MHz, with optional spread spectrum capabilities for better EMI performance. The LP8868-Q1 series also supports standard cathode connections and single-layer PCB designs. These drivers are ideal for automotive infotainment, automotive dashboards, heads-up displays (HUD) and automotive lighting.

The LP8868-Q1 driver supports four dimming options, including analog dimming, PWM dimming, hybrid dimming and flexible dimming. These drivers feature extensive fault detection: LED on and short detection, sense resistor on and short detection, and configurable thermal fold and shutdown protection.
