Renesas Electronics' RA8D1 32-bit graphics microcontroller (MCU) is based on the Arm Cortex-M85 (CM85) core and delivers breakthrough performance of more than 3000 CoreMark points and superior graphics capabilities at 480 MHz, enabling high-resolution displays and Visual artificial intelligence applications. These general-purpose MCU devices are suitable for a variety of high-performance and compute-intensive applications in the industrial automation, home appliances, smart home, consumer, building/home automation and medical/healthcare market segments.
RA8D1 mcu integrates high-performance CM85 core, large memory and rich peripherals, including high-resolution TFT-LCD controller with parallel RGB and MIPI-DSI interfaces, 2D graphics engine, 16-bit camera interface and multiple external storage interfaces , optimized to meet the needs of various graphics and visual AI applications. These mcu are available in 176-pin and 224-pin packages. Secure Elements features built-in advanced encryption security IP, immutable storage, true secure boot and tamper protection to achieve a truly secure IoT.
The RA8D1 series has flexible software packages and complete software and hardware development tools.
