Abstract: There are two types of optimization design technologies for feature junction passivation: one-way and two-way.
TSMC's TLD8Sx ESD surface mount transient voltage suppressor adopts junction passivation optimization design technology and has both unidirectional and bidirectional characteristics. These inhibitors are ROHS compliant and halogen free. The TLD8Sx transient voltage suppressors have a moisture sensitivity level of 1 per J-STD-020 and are packaged in DO218AB-2. These suppressors are AEC-Q101 certified and meet ISO7637-2 and ISO16750-2 surge specifications. The TLD8Sx transient voltage suppressors feature junction passivation optimized design technology and matte tinned leads, and each J-STD-002 terminal is solderable. These suppressors operate at a peak pulse current of 204A, a breakdown voltage of 22.2V, and a temperature range of -55C° to 175C°. The TLD8Sx transient voltage suppressors are ideal for transient surge protection and automotive load dump surge protection applications.
