DRV8213 Texas Instruments

The Texas Instruments DRV8213 brushed DC motor driver is an n-channel h-bridge driver with integrated current sensing, regulation and stall detection. A triple charge pump allows the device to operate as low as 1.65V to accommodate 1.8V rails and low battery conditions. The driver supports 1.8V, 3.3V and 5V logic inputs, operates over a supply voltage range of 1.65V to 11V, and has a 240 milliohm R(DS(on)) resistance. The DRV8213 driver provides undervoltage lockout, overcurrent and overtemperature protection. The driver also features a PWM control interface with switching frequencies up to 100kHz. The RTE package supports sensorless motor stall detection and reporting to the microcontroller. The DRV8213 driver is suitable for brushed DC motors, solenoid valves, relay drives, water and gas meters, electronic smart locks, electronic and robotic toys, portable printers, etc.
