Summary: Inductor fast dimming, non-synchronous multi-topology solution, wide input range from 4.5V to 65V.

LP8865-Q1 Texas Instruments

The Texas Instruments LP8865-Q1 multi-topology LED driver is a non-synchronous multi-topology solution with inductive fast dimming and operates over a wide 4.5V to 65V input range. These LED drivers are configurable with switching frequencies from 100kHz to 2.2MHz, with optional spread spectrum capabilities for better EMI performance. The LP8865-Q1 series of drivers provide a variety of system protections, including LED open and short circuits, sense resistor open and short circuits, configurable thermal fallback and shutdown. These multi-topology drivers support four dimming options: analog, PWM, hybrid and flexible. The LP8865-Q1 driver is ideal for automotive infotainment, automotive instrument clusters, head-up displays (HUD), and automotive lighting. These LP8865-Q1 devices are qualified for AEC-Q100 automotive applications.
