Summary: Texas Instruments' MSPM0G150x Arm Cortex M0+ 80 MHz MCU is suitable for various applications such as motor control and factory automation.

MSPM0G150x Texas Instruments

Texas Instruments' MSPM0G150x microcontrollers (MCUs) are part of the MSP family of highly integrated, ultra-low-power 32-bit MCUs based on the enhanced Arm Cortex-M0+ 32-bit core platform and operate at frequencies up to 80 MHz. These cost-optimized MCUs offer high-performance analog peripheral integration over an extended temperature range of -40°C to +125°C and an operating supply voltage range of 1.62 V to 3.6 V.

MSPM0G150x devices provide up to 128 KB of embedded Flash program memory with built-in error correcting code (ECC) and up to 32 KB of SRAM with hardware parity option. These MCUs include a memory protection unit, 7-channel DMA, math accelerator and various high-performance analog peripherals such as two 12-bit 4 Msps analog-to-digital converters (ADCs), configurable internal shared reference voltage, a 12-bit 1 Msps DAC, three high-speed comparators with built-in reference DACs, two zero-drift zero-crossover op amps with programmable gain, and a general-purpose amplifier. These devices provide intelligent digital peripherals, including two 16-bit high-level control timers, five general-purpose timers (one 16-bit general-purpose timer for QEI interface, two 16-bit general-purpose timers for standby mode, and one 32-bit general-purpose timer processor), two window watchdog timers and an RTC with alarm and calendar modes. These devices provide data integrity and encryption peripherals (AES, CRC and TRNG), as well as enhanced communication interfaces (four UARTs, two I(2)C and two SPIs).

TI's MSPM0 family of low-power MCUs consists of devices with varying degrees of analog and digital integration, allowing customers to find an MCU that meets their project needs. The MSPM0 MCU platform combines the Arm Cortex-M0+ platform with an overall ultra-low-power system architecture, enabling system designers to increase performance while reducing energy consumption.
