Summary: Automotive, 4A/6A, 5kVRMS isolated gate driver with DIS and DT pins for IGBT transistors.

UCC21550-Q1 Texas Instruments

The Texas Instruments UCC21550-Q1 dual-channel gate driver is designed with 4A peak source current and 6A peak sink current to drive power MOSFET, SiC, GaN and IGBT transistors. These gate drivers are an isolated dual-channel series with programmable dead time and a wide temperature range of -40°C to 150°C. The UCC21550-Q1 driver enables high efficiency, power density and robustness in a variety of power applications. Protection features include resistor-programmable dead time, disabling the ability to turn off both outputs simultaneously, and an integrated de-fault filter that rejects input transients shorter than 5ns. The UCC21550-Q1 driver is ideal for onboard battery chargers, high voltage DC-DC converters, automotive HVAC and body electronics. These UCC21550-Q1 devices are qualified for AEC-Q100 automotive applications.
