The UCC44273 single-channel gate driver is a high-speed, low-side gate driver that efficiently drives MOSFET and IGBT power switches. The driver provides 4A source and 4A sink (symmetrical drive) peak drive current capability at 12V (DD). The UCC44273 gate driver can source and sink high peak current pulses into capacitive loads, providing rail-to-rail drive capability and a small propagation delay of 13ns. This single-channel gate driver operates over a voltage range of 4.5V to 18V and a temperature range of -40°C to 140°C. The UCC44273 driver is ideal for power factor correction (PFC) stages, residential air conditioning (HVAC), switch-mode power supplies (SMPS), and motor drivers.
