Summary: Measures 14 battery voltages and 6 temperature or system voltage combinations.

ADES175x Analog Devices

Analog Devices' ADES175x high-voltage data acquisition system is a flexible system for managing low-voltage and high-voltage battery modules. These systems measure 14 cell voltages and 6 temperature or system voltage combinations in 162µs with redundant measurement engines. The ADES175x system can perform all inputs in 99µs of the analog-to-digital converter (ADC) measurement engine. These systems use the battery management UART protocol for robust communication and support an I(2)C controller interface for external device control.

ADES175x systems include individually configurable safety alarms such as overvoltage, undervoltage, overtemperature and undertemperature faults. These systems operate from a maximum supply voltage of 65V and a temperature range of -40°C to 105°C. ADES175x systems can be used in electric vehicle charging, battery-powered tools, supercapacitor systems, high-voltage battery packs and residential battery storage systems.
