Summary: Features digitally selectable operating frequencies from 225MHz to 520MHz.

ADMV8505 Analog Devices

Analog Devices' ADMV8505 digitally adjustable bandpass filter has a digitally selectable operating frequency. The filter center frequency (fCENTER) can be adjusted from 225MHz to 520MHz using an 8-bit value (256x state) combined with a patented calibration technique. Typical 3dB bandwidth is 9% and adjustability is ±2%. Insertion loss is typically 4.5dB, and the 20dB rejection distance fCENTER is 19%, ideal for minimizing system interference. The ADMV8505 tunable filter can be used as a smaller replacement for large switching filter banks and discrete component-based tunable filters, providing dynamically tunable solutions for advanced communications applications.
