Summary: This device enables an unprecedented level of integration in an extremely small form factor.

Texas Instruments IWR6243 monolithic FMCW transceiver

Texas Instruments IWR6243 monolithic FMCW transceiver can operate in the 57GHz to 64GHz frequency band. The device enables an unprecedented level of integration in an extremely small form factor. The IWR6243 is an ideal solution for low-power, self-monitoring, ultra-accurate radar systems in the industrial sector.

The IWR6243 is a stand-alone FMCW transceiver single-chip solution that simplifies radar sensor implementation. It is based on TI's low-power 45nm RFCMOS process and enables monolithic implementation of 3TX, 4RX systems with built-in ADC converters and phase-locked loops. Simple programming model changes enable various sensor implementations (short, medium, long) and can be dynamically reconfigured to implement multi-mode sensors.
