Summary: Low-power devices are suitable for data transmission up to 32Mbps.
The Texas Instruments THVD1330 half-duplex RS-485 transceiver is a powerful, low-power transceiver with a high-activation driver and a low-activation receiver. The transceiver features a -7V to 12V bus common-mode range and a low 5µA maximum shutdown current. The THVD1330 transceiver provides 60mA maximum output driver current and 8mA maximum output receiver current. The transceiver operates from a single 3.3V supply voltage and the -40°C to 125°C temperature range.
The THVD1330 transceiver is suitable for data transmission up to 32Mbps and multipoint applications running long distance cables. The transceiver is suitable for small propagation delay variations to support time-sensitive applications such as baseband units (BBUs) and remote radio units (RRUs). The THVD1330 transceiver is used in wireless infrastructure, factory automation, control building automation and grid infrastructure.
