Summary: Used in automotive applications and renewable energy applications within SSR.

Toshiba TLX9910 optocoupler

Toshiba's TLX9910 optocoupler is designed for solid-state relay (SSR) applications in automotive environments as well as industrial applications such as renewable energy. This combination can realize high-voltage and high-current switching, which is difficult to achieve with integrated photorelays. The TLX9910 offers a nominal open circuit voltage of 13.5V, significantly increasing the selection of compatible MOSFETs, and using a single device reduces component count, reducing solution size and weight. The Toshiba TLX9910 optocoupler is available in a surface-mount 4-pin SO6 package measuring 3.7mm x 7mm x 2.1mm and has an operating temperature range of -40°C to +125°C.
